Position Overview:

We are looking for a Lead Network Security Engineer with extensive experience in firewall management, Zscaler Proxy, basic routing and switching, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and cloud network security. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the current cybersecurity landscape and the ability to deploy and manage security measures to protect our networks and systems.

• Design, configure & maintain firewalls and Zscaler Proxy solutions to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
• Manage and troubleshoot routing and switching issues to ensure optimal network performance.
• Implement and maintain Web Application Firewalls to protect web applications from threats and attacks.
• Secure cloud-based network infrastructures and integrate security protocols within the cloud environment.
• Work closely with the IT team to develop and enforce network security policies.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity and respond to security incidents promptly.
• Conduct regular system tests and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of security measures with organizational goals.
• Keep abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and mitigation techniques.
• Document security configurations and changes and maintain network diagrams.
• Strong Knowledge Zscaler Private Access along with advance skill on Zscaler API integration and implementation.
• Knowledge on PRISMA and Cloud security with end-to-end implementation.

What you will bring to the team:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in network security, specifically with firewalls, Zscaler Proxy, routing and switching, WAF, and cloud security.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP Security, or similar are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
